I have a HP Office Jet G85 Printer. The return address will not print on envelopes.

Use a standard sheet of paper to find out if the "return address" appears. It could be an alignment/paper size issue. Are you using a template?

I chose "envelope" and printed on an 81/2x11 sheet of paper. The return address printed but is located too far "up" on the page to fit on an envelope. The problem seems to be spacing, but I don't know how to adjust it. I am usint MS Word 2007 and my HP Office Jet G85 printer. Thanks for your suggestion. I would appreciate any more help that you can offer.

Move the start of the text down on the page, maybe 6-7 inches, then retest.
Did you know that you can make your own custom address labels with the add-on from Avery?
Avery provides literally 1000's of label templates.
