System fan

When I turn on my computer the monitor says the system fan has stopped working. Press F to continue. Is this a HP issue or Windows. Im running Windows 7 home premium have seen and heard the fan running on the computer.

Silvanus, welcome to the forum.

 

When requesting help, you should always include the make/model of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of the them.

 

It could be that the fan is beginning to fail.  I believe the alert is provided from HP Advisor.  I suggest opening the case to assure that the fan is running properly.
