HP is very disappointing in terms of service. I ordered a computer (HP Pavilion Elite HPE-460z) online. It was supposed to be completed on December 14th. I received an email from FedEx saying that HP has sent shipping/billing information to FedEx....... Two days later, HP still hadn't released the machine to FedEx for delivery. So I call HP to find out the status, and get transferred to three different Indian phone reps that speak english with an accent no one from the US could understand. (they just kept asking me the same thing, no matter what I said.... They kept asking me if I was having a good day, even after I said, I clearly wasn't and just wanted to get my problem resolved, and to stop asking me that.)....
Finally I get transferred to an American. He tells me that the machine was absolutely shipped on the 14th "two day shipping" and that the FedEx tracking report was wrong.... and that I would absolutely receive it on the 16th.... Today is the 16th at 7:31pm and all FedEx deliveries are done for the day, and the tracking number still indicates that the machine hasn't been picked up. Clearly a blatant lie by the rep.
So I call again to get the status, and this time they simply say they don't where it is and will contact me in a few days when they find out what happened to it.
HP, your service is terrible. Get your act together. Potential customers, order your computers elsewhere.
