Updates

Hi just reformatted my PC,of course i had to update,i started updating windows, but most of the updates failed no error messages either.can someone tell me how i'm suppose to update.Thanks

I believe this happened to me in XP What you have to do is restart again then try install 5-20 updates and restart again and do the rest and then restart again.

In Windows Vista, make sure your time and date and time zone is set correctly and just restart the pc, make sure the Internet connection works and then run updates again.

Also try turning off your firewall  if you have one while doing updates.

Thanks I will try that,thought i had it all done but today thier asking me to update,thing is i updated all that yesterday,Thanks for repling i will try again.
