Please look at model number and the Part Number before posting!!!    

 

Model dc7100 and Part Number  PN - DX877AV

 

I need to upgrade my memory " HP Compaq dc7100 Ultra slim Desktop PC   PN - DX877AV"  but very confused about the specs for the memory.

I  need to know the right specs of MEMORY for this computer  so i can buy memory. This a older  Intel P 4 based PC.

 

High Density?Low Density?Unbuffered?Non Ecc?Non Registered?

The max Memory you can upgrade is up to 3 GB 1 GB DDR Synch Dram PC3200 (400 MHz) Non ECC.

Although your a bit confused, and I sense a tad testy, here are your answers.

 

How to install the memory and the constraints. See pgs 2-11 thru 2-13.

Specifications for installation:  (three 1GB modules will max out the unit) for installation):

Type of memory that you can install is: 400MHz, CL=3.0, PC3200 non-ECC DDR-SDRAM DIMM memory
