Hi,
Got a question regarding a video card upgrade that I will be attempting. My system is a Pavilion p7-1205, and I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I will be upgrading my video editing software to Sony Vegas Pro 11, and I need to install a new video card to make it work. On a budget, going bare bones to meet requirements for Vegas, and will be getting this card; HP WS093AT NVIDIA Quadro 600. Will not be rendering 3D, so I should be ok.
However, on the system requirements page, it says I should be running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Do you think I will have trouble getting this to work on my OS, or will I have to upgrade there as well?

Hi,
Review the information at this link. There is support for both 32 bit and 64 bit drivers.
Review this Quadro chart. You could probably go up to the Quadro 2000 without upgrading the power supply depending on your budget. The technical specifications for Sony Vegas Pro 11 indicate a Quadro 600 or above.
The technical specifications for Sony Vegas Pro 11 are here.
