I am running an HP Officejet Pro K5400 or K5400dn on Mac OS X v10.8.5. I can print from my iMac. But my MacBook is giving me a printer jam message that I can't seem to clear even restarting the computer, disconnecting and reconnecting printer. I can run from this same MacBook computer printer diagnostics checks that print fine and I can print with no issues from a different computer. Can't figure out how to clear the printer jam error that seems frozen in the print queue on this printer only. Any suggestions?

I was able to solve the problem by deleting the HP printer from my printer list, which cleared all the "awaiting jobs". When I re-added the printer to the list - the error message was gone and it is printing fine.
