how to finalize a dvd

I burned a data dvd, then closed it, but it will only work in my computer, not others, how do I finalize

the dvd to work in other computers??

Hi,

Modern DVD programs will finalize the disk when it is closed.  Some programs by default will leave the DVD open so that data can be appended to the disk.  As mentioned by Banhien, check your application program for that function.

Some of the older programs required the program to be on both PCs if you left the disk open.

You can download Imgburn to check the condition of your DVD disk.  You can also use Imgburn burn to close (finalize) the disk.

how do I finalize a dvd on a pc to work on other pc or dvd player,
