I properly saved a file in word perfect wdp.I transfered it to Free agent drive storage.I had to reboot windows in to my HP.
But now my HP can not open the file tranfered back from Free agent storage to my HP.It says that file can't be opened or does not exists.I tried to open it in word pad and it comes in mumbo-jumbo,but it looks like it still exits. Thanks Otto

It's hard to say for sure what might be going on, but some possibilities are that the file has been corrupted and is no longer readable or it's somehow had the format changed so it's no longer formatted in a way that the application can read it. Sorry that there's not better news about your situation.
One other possibility is that the sector of the drive the file is on has some issues. You might try moving it to another medium, like a flash drive and see if you can open it from that.
