hp pavilion 752n wont power on

not an urgent problem, but hoping someone can help me out

 

I know this is an older model (bought more than 10 years ago!!) but we use it as a backup when our less-than adequately -built newer pavilion fails.

 

The problem is that the 752n will not power on. 

I have followed all the steps listed on the troubleshooting page http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph06788&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=ca&dlc=en&lan...

but no luck.

 

The green light IS ON on the back, so I don't think the power supply is shot.  I did change the little battery in hopes that that was the problem (It was over 10 years old after all lol)  but that didn't help either.

 

Any other advice?

If I were to replace the power supply, can someone advise on what to buy (not too expensive, it doesn't have to be fancy I just need the pc to work)
