i sign on to windows , and after sign on if i don't stay active with activity ex; mouse , internet etc. windows goes back to lock screen and i have to sign in again after about a minute of inactivity . i want to keep lockscreen but tired of it going to sleep so fast . what do i do ?????

Hi,

 

Right click on an empty area of the Desktop and select Personalize.  Click the Screen saver link in the bottom right.  In the following window you can adjust the time before the screensaver kicks in the  'Wait' dropdown menu.  If you don't want to have to sign-in after this, also remove the tick from the box next to 'On resume, display log-on screen'.  Click Apply, then Ok to save the setting change.

Duh!!!!!   Ich bin so dum!  I am so dumb!  Wow, I did this weeks ago but must have forgot to hit the "Apply" key!    Oy!  Thanks for your help!
