I just received my HP Touchsmart 520 1010t desktop. When I turn it on, I receive the following message:
No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed.
What do I do?

Are you able to enter the BIOS?
Is the hard disk seen by the BIOS as present?
Did you make a recovery disk set?
I note that your PC is pretty new and is covered by warranty.
Kind regards,

Thank you for your reply. I was not able to get into the BIOS at all. I finally reached tech support after being transferred a couple of times, then they apparently hung up or I lost connection. I did get someone a half hour later and am returning the unit to HP.
I don't see a white star to click in order to give kudos to you.
