Small but annoying problem..I can't seem to find how to set my new machine to boot with the  numlock on.

It's a Envy 23-d290.

Re: num lock on at boot

Loki6977, welcome to the forum.

Here is something to try:

Control Panel / Power Options / Choose what the power buttons do / uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended) and reboot.  This may just solve your problem.

Please click "KUDOS" if I have helped you and click "Accept as Solution" if your problem is solved.

Re: num lock on at boot

Similar question, situation.  Everytime my machine is shut down and restarted or simply rebooted, the numbers lock goes away and I have to manually press the numbers lock button inorder to enter my password.  Will this solution you gave these folks work for me as well
