paper jam but not

I ahve an older hp officejet 5500 all in one. Works fine printing off glass but if i try to print off computer keeps saying paper jam. I have reset and taken paper out . It will print report off of actual printer but nothing from queue?

My trusty 5510 has always performed well but now is just not printing. All print jobs remain in queue. The Print and Scan Doc says everything is just fine.The only hint I get that indicates what the problem might be is when I want to put the computer on Standby. The message says the "print spooler" is preventing the standby.
