playing burned discs

have pavilion p6 2035uk using win 7 home premium 64 bit.i can save an audio file and burn it using either the bundled Power2go software and windows Media player but the CD-RW disc will not play on my cd player in the car.I've been doing this for years on my old computer running xp with no problem at all. Any advise please as the Hp support do not seem to want to answer my enquiry.Is it me or is this the worst suppotr system in the world?

Hi

You have a couple of options as I see it please burn the files only in MP3 format in Windows Media player then try to burn the disc Or you could also use the software like Nero to burn your disc as i understand you are trying to burn Music disc MP3 is only option that needs to be selected or else it will not work.
