restore to factory settings

with this

Control Panel \All Control Panel Items \Recovery \Advanced Recovery Methods...

 and in that if i selects restore to factory setting what further steps i need to take , i.e steps that i have to follow in this recovery process and after restoring to factory setting

all the drivers like ethernet , rom drivers will be installed or i hav to done that manully

mine model no is cq3217in product no is :BK260AA-ACJ

Hi,

 

All the original drivers and software that came with your PC will be reinstalled, so everything should work.  You will have to let windows download updates etc and there may be updated drivers that will be offered for installation.

but u didnt mention the procedure or steps that will came across that recovery process ....and it seems k while doing this system ask for several things one of that is username & password bt my pc only has password no username where that username is ?

Hi,

 

If this is towards the end of the Recovery process, Windows is asking you to enter the Username you want to use and the password you want to apply to the account - this is so Windows can finish setting up your account.

and what more Q'S it ll ask through out the process? and also it ll take that file of recovery frm hdd and start the process right ?

Hi,

 

I can't think of anything else it will ask other than Language and Keyboard Layout preferences - yes, you can start the Recovery from Recovery Manager using the files on the HDD Recovery Partition.
