On my computer the file spoolsv.exe file is in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.ex
where it belongs. But it is also in two other locations on my computer. Does that mean it's a virus in these two locations?
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\spoolsv.exe
C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\SPOOLSV.EXE-282F76A7.pf
Thanks!

Hi,
This situation is probably not a virus.
Prefetch is where Windows keeps commonly used modules to improve system performance.
The module is normally located in the system32 folder and that is where Windows get the prefetch modules.
The i386 folder is where source modules are kept and in this case is a service pack update.
