windows xp media center

Hello:

My computer is HP pavillion m71000e. Windows XP.

The media center can record TV, but is there any way it can record from a web site?

Please advise.

Media Center does not support that.  Depending on the content of the website, it may be able to record with the help of some software.  Please explain the content that is wanted to record.  Maybe an example of the intention or a link to the website with the specific content desired.

I looked at the site and do not have an opinion.  I came across this: http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/285567-How-to-capture-record-streaming-video

I have not tried any of the mentioned except Downloadhelper and I already know that does not work on  the video from that site.
