Attachment issue at webtier

Hi all :

 

When we did the domain migration, the system was encountered with the following exception "SSL Bad Certificate error". We suspected that this exception was caused due to the certificate being used and hence we reverted back to the changes carried out for domain migration activity.

 

Once the reversal process was complete, we faced another issue with respect to uploading an attachment in the web application. After analyzing the log, the team was able to identify the exception as "the scratchdir you specified is unusable" and hence we changed the permission of the folder "tomcat/Work/Catalina/localhost/smweb/attachment" by using the command "Chown -R smweb:smweb /smweb". After this change, the issue with respect to uploading an attachment got resolved. However we are currently facing an issue when a file is downloaded from the web application whereas the same scenario is working well when we try downloading a file from the tool.

 

Please let me help with this issue. I have been working with HP Support guys but no workaround as of now..
