I am firing some HP Dataprotector commands remotely on a computer on which the software(HP Dataprotector) is installed.
I am getting following error in various commands of HP DataProtector as :
1 ./cygdrive/C/"Program Files"/OmniBack/bin/omnimm -create_pool testingWa_Pool File output: , error output: You have no permission for the requested media management action. returnCode: 1__________
2. Command: /cygdrive/C/"Program Files"/OmniBack/bin/omnimm -create_pool testingWa_Pool File output, error output:You have no permission for the requested media management action.
Note : if i run the above commands locally on the system on which the HP DataProtector is installed then there is no error coming.
could you pls help me in resolving this issue.

It looks like you are remoting in via Cygwin SSHd. Presumably this is running as SYSTEM?
omnimm needs to look up the local username, domain name and hostname. I think this will look up the logon session the process is running under, not using the SID token that the omnimm process has. sshd does an NtCreateToken, but not a full logon (I'm a bit hazy about the differences, sorry, not much of a Windows person). So omnimm gets the wrong answer -- well, maybe not the wrong answer, but the local username won't by your username, it will (I think) be the username SSHd runs as.
I would guess the solution is to add the "SYSTEM" from that box as a "User" in DataProtector.
