Does Quality Center (QC) provide / support functionality by which a user (mainly developer) can update his/ her comments (like defect status, resolution, root cause, work notes, etc.) in the system without going into the system? What I mean by this is that suppose a developer receives a defect e-mail from QC to fix. For work updates, can he/she just respond to that e-mail by updating status, root cause, comments etc. fields in e-mail and that e-mail will be used by the system to mark his or her updates. Is that possible out-of-box in QC or with some kind of configuration / coding, etc?
Secondly, can I establish parent-child relationship among a number of defects logged in Quality Center?
