When I try to install iLO advanced license (Trial) I've get the error (in subject)!

And when I open the recieved document with iLO serial code I found, that is iLO2 serial code inside, but there is NO iLO3 serial code! Where I can get iLO3 advanced serial trial key?

The problem was wrong date of server.

I am experiencing the same problem on 3x DL380 G7 servers where it doesn’t want to allow the trail cd key. Although I could load this key successfully on one of the servers.

We have updated the ILO firmware again to v1.28 with no joy.

The time was set right, so we even changed the time so verify if this will have a affect. Still no joy!

Rebooted the server several times. Any advice will be appreciated.

I have the same problem with an HP ML110 G7 (iLO 3). What do you mean wrong date of server? in the bios ?

I have exactly the same problem also on ML110 G7 ilo3 and the date is correct.

Ok guys, this is ridiculous!

I have a DL120 G7 and are experiencing the exact same problem. No matter which license (and when downloaded there is only mention of ILO 2) I enter from the ILO Evaluation License, I got this error.

Can someone from HP can, explicitly explain what is the wrong server date resolution, and/or provide a good link for the ILO 3 Advance Evaluation Key!

I have ProLiant ML110G7 with iLO 3 and this same issue but date in BIOS is current. Probably problem is newest iLO 3 ver 1.28.

i have reset the setting for ilo from bios and it is working fine now.
