Same here. Can't get to page for ordering the mediasmart 3.0 update for mediasmart ex 470. I am customer in texas, USA. Can you please post the link. I followed the instructions found online which mentions to go to www.hp.com and typing in product number in support and drivers section.

I ordered my 3.0 Update Discs on 2/24 and was suppose to receive them yesterday 3/5 but there is a delay in shipping these 3.0 update discs out and HP is not very clear as to the reason why other then saying they ran out of discs. What is wrong about this is that when they post an expected delivery date it would mean they had discs in stock, however when checking my order status the discs have yet to be shipped.
I did receive an email indicating there would be a delay but no specific reason was given. I have been reading the message forums and there are many HP Customers who are now not happy with HP. Some are not happy because they paid extra for overnight shipping and the discs never arrived. Our Canadian Friends are not happy because of the shipping costs to Canada using FEDex put a premium on the cost of the upgrate.
My experience with HP over the years has been positive and they have always shipped my orders in a timely manor but this time it was not the case. I am a very patient man but I am anxious to get the 3.0 upgrade not so much because I need it but because I want to see how it runs and to be able to help others when they run into problems but I can not do this without having the upgrade in hand. I own 2 EX470's and I have a ProLiant running WHS. The ProLiant is my main server but I like the MSS very much.
In anycase I just wish HP would make it clear as to the reasons why there is a delay in shipping the 3.0 Upgrade and I wish they would do something about the Shipping Costs to Canada to make the discs more affordable to our Canadian friends who are outraged over this which is not my problem but it does create a problem for HP a company who I have great respect for and would hate to see them lose credibility with their customers over this one issue.

I also ordered on 2/24 and got an estimated delivery date of 3/01 but they never came and are still listed as un-shipped. I also got that email about the delay and quite frankly Im pissed! because they are not saying why there is a delay or they are being vague about it at the least. I just think that they should have been more prepared before they released it knowing that there might be a ton of orders and had supply to meet the demand. I paid extra for the 1 day ship and right now Im not very happy with there service!

I ordered online and received the HP 3.0 software for EX47x in less then a week. The softwate included the Server Recovery Disc with Patch 1. The way the 3 DVDs are packaged together, it was only my first problem, when you try and remove the disc, you can have a bigger problem. I could not get it open and had to use a letter opener to break the label on the back. In doing so scratched the Server Recovery Disc. The disc is now bad and when I called support, I was told to repurchased the update. I am a senior citizen that sometimes have a problem opening a package and when talking to technical supportI was told it was not their problem.

So, am I correct in understanding that HP no longer offers the 3.0 upgrade software for sale for the EX470? Gee, thanks HP...I'll remember this the next time I'm shopping for a computer. Thanks for abandoning your customers.

Same here. I actually realized that this upgrade existed (part #589796-ZH1) last night and I have been searching everywhere for it, but it seems that it is no longer available. I am planning to
experience some pain contact support and I will update on this thread.

I contacted support and they confirmed that this is no longer offered by HP. No reasons were provided and when I asked if they could record the fact that another customer is asking for it, they said they don't think it is going to be available again although many many customers are asking. That is, 3.0 upgrade is no longer going to be available to any MediaSmart owner, and they don't know why.
Re the "experience some pain" comment I made before, I have to say the representative I talked to was very polite and a pleasure to deal with.

HP has hung me out to dry so often that I will make sure that I and all my students will not purchase HP products. No support on HP PocketPC and no support on HP Mediasmart EX475. When I contacted HP Canada they told me to "Google" where I could get the 3.0 upgrade. Useless !@#$$%
