HP 5300 Flatbed scanner and would like to use it to convert a significant number of 35 mm slides.

I have a HP 5300 flatbed scanner and would like to use it to convert a large collection of 35 mm slides to digital files. I believe that an accessory is necessary to do this, is that correct? Where could I purchase this accessory and the cost? Thank you.

Hi,

I don't think you can't find it anywhere. The results won't be great and VERY SLOW. Why not buy something like one of these ?

Thanks for the quick reply. Most helpful. Do you know if the images can be imported into PhotoShop and edited there?
