Hi all,

 

New to HP, got my nice new laptop on Friday and I'm trying to find out about the dvd burner.  Can the HP DVD RAM UJ8C2 burn dual layer dvds?  I've tried checking online but can't find anything.

 

Hope someone can help.

What is your machine ? Anyway, the following says it supports DVD DL and only DVD+:

 

   http://burners.burn4free.com/matsushita-matshita-panasonic/matshita-uj8c2.htm

 

Write support:     

  • CDR
  • CDRW
  • DVD-
  • DVDRAM
  • DVD-RW
  • DVD+
  • DVD+RW
  • DVD+DL
