HP Event Notifier Reporting when nothing is wrong

Hi,

 

First off apologies if the title is not very clear, I wasn't sure how to summaries this.

 

The issue we are facing is that on our server (Specs Below) the HP Event notifier service is reporting that a USB has been unplugged and plugged back in when in fact nothing has been touched on the machine. I have looked through the event logs and I cannot find anything that points to this error.

 

HP ML350 G6

Server 2008R2

Hyper-V box

 

There is always 1 USB plugged into the server for the backup drive, this is changed once a week
