HP HD-4110 + MacBook + Skype = Stretched image

Hi,

 

i have a MacBook pro and have used it with many different webcams, recently i bought an HP HD 4110 webcam, and in Skype, the image is very strangelooking, stretched and out of focus. putting the cd in, there are only windows drivers on there, and i can t find any online either. 

 

any ideas how i can fix this?

Hi,

Unfortunately the Webcam is supported by Windows environment only and not by Mac OS.

As listed by the product Datasheet below, Windows XP, Vista or 7 are the only supported operating systems for the Webcam:

Do not cheat people. Works on Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 perfectly. And also Scype.
