HP SimpleSave External Hard Drive (1TB) not working

Hello everyone,

 

I have an HP SimpleSave External Hard Drive (1TB) and from many days it is not working at all. I am not able to write content to it or from it. I tried to format the drive but even that also is not working.

 

The problem have started when I was using this drive in MAC (using NTFS-3G) and suddenly my friend came and unplugged the drive and from then onwards it is not working at all.

 

Can anyone please post a solution to this problem. is there any software that repairs the drive or is there any alternative.
