Is it to much to ask to be able to talk to a person in the us when the others ask you to spell (HIGHWAY) and have every thing on your product is in some one else's name and at a another date! I was in Dallas Texas in Feb,2012 at the VA when i started home i stopped and picked up a (NEW HP TouchPad ) for my Wife, we called HP gave them all the info on my NEW HP TouchPad and was told thank you for buying from HP. March 31 2012 my wife turned the HP TouchPad off and plugged it in, April 1, 2012 she went to turn it on nothing it would not work! I called April 2, 2012 to git some help and the first thing, it was in some else name the date was 2011 on it and i was told to give them credit card NOW, thay could not talk to me unless i padded them!! Three Hours latter after talking to one after a another person it was fixed but NO tecsupport but thay will fix my wife's HP TouchPad ! What the hell is going on now!!!!! I buy HPs because i like HP In 7 days a box will come to my home then the HP TouchPad will go back to HP and will come back to me working i hope. Three Hours of my time just to try to fix my wife's TouchPad she should know i love her

I have an HP Touchpad. It happened to me once in the past also. All you probably needed to do was trigger a restart of the Touchpad. Sorry to hear you went through so much grief.
I answered a question about the same thing for someone before right here. It is nice to know information for if it happens again.
It sounds like you are a good husband and helped keep your wife happy. I applaud you for that.

Do you see the link in my previous post? It goes right to the post where I explained how to do it for another forum member.
