Hi,

On this page from the HPCC (HP and hanheld caculator club, UK):

HPCC calculator links

Under the heading "HP 10BII" is a link for an emulator. It is for the 10BII and not the newer 10BII+.

It is time limited software, for evaluation purposes only I guess. I do not know how long, it just doesn't open when clicked.

Regards,

Bart

Good day  Bart,

thanks for your very prompt response - very helpful

Living in Canada, we use this Calculator for Mortgages a lot, especially in Ontario - in Canada we amortize mortgages semi-annually, not in advance - which calculates the interest differently - in arrears that is.

Still looking for more info on that side of it!!! - good website in UK - am ex UK - Watford

Hi Pamment,

You may be interested in the HP30b, it has a "TVM Canada" setting.

Here is a learning module that shows it's use:

Canadian mortgages

Unfortunately no simulator Smiley Sad

Good morning Bart Thanks for info on new machine model - it APPEARS that HP10bII has disappeared and replaced by same number with a + sign , apparently lfor doing annual yields to make a 360 day year Our problem is that Real Estate textbooks talk HP10bII and it is disappearing from stores!!! Hi Tony,

Yes, the 10BII has been replaced by the 10BII+. However, the + model has the same functions (and key placements) as the previous model, so there should be no problem with the textbooks.

The + model has a lot of added functionality, in financial, maths and a few statistics. E.g. date functions have been added. Most of this is seen by the proliferation of blue shifted functions.

If I am not mistaken, it sells for about the same price, so a lot more bang-for-the-buck 🙂

Regards,

Bart
