I have some ultrabooks with no onboard LAN, which I'm trying to take a ghost image on (over the network).
I'm using an HP LAN and USB travel hub, but to get Ghost to work, I need DOS (NDIS2) drivers to get this working. Any ideas where I could get these from. I've had a good look but had no joy so far. All my generic drivers seem to fail too!!.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi, I'm not that familiar with the "HP LAN and USB travel hub", but I have used Ghost a fair amount!
I think it may be difficult to get this ethernet device to work in DOS mode. One of the issues is that DOS itself does not have any support for USB, so you would first have to get some real-mode USB drivers installed, and then find/layer drivers for the HP LAN and USB travel hub on top of that.
It sounds like a difficult task. Does the ghost image have to be stored/retrieved over the network? It may be easier to use Ghost with a local storage device, such as a USB optical drive, or an external/USB hard drive (if that's an option)...
Another option would be to use a different disk imaging program (one that works within Windows, or uses something like a Windows PE boot disk instead of DOS).
Hope that this helps!

Good point about USB and DOS not being supproted - I've gone down the local storage route for the image as It looked very unlikely to get them on the network.
Thanks for the response either way.
