Not able to record .NET protocol Windows based application from Vugen 9.52

Hi,

I have HP Vugen 9.52 , i am trying to record a .NET protocol based windows application.

When i select Microsoft .NET protocol and give the path of the application, on clicking on OK it opens the recording dialog but fails to open the application , the recording window shows 0 events and nothing happens.

Can some one help, why load runner does not record the .NET protocol app ?

Is there any pre configuration required?  i have .NET framework 1.1 , 2 , 3 , 4 installed on my machine.
