Point of Sale terminal AP5000 Powered USB specifications

Hello, 

 

I have problems with the Point of Sale terminal AP5000 and the PoweredUSB port with 24 Volt. 

The power on the (red) port is 24 Volt but not always enough for the Epson TM-T88IV receipt printer. 

The printer sporadic flashing the power LED and don't work anymore until you reset the printer. 

 

Its a sporadic problem and can be solved by changing some dipswitches on the Epson printer to set the printspeed to slow. 

Therefore the printer consumed less power, but the speed is to slow.. 

 

We have a big installedbase (over 200 systems) with problems. 

 

Do you have the PoweredUSB (24volt) specifications off the AP5000 port? 

Are there more problems with similar printers and the AP5000?
