Replace MediaSmart EX485 750GB OS System Disk with 1 TB OS Disk

I have just purchased an EX485 MediaSmart home server with the 750 GB OS system disk.  Is it possible to replace the 750 GB disk with a 1 TB OS system disk.  If so, will the recovery disk work with the existing OS driver or is a driver update required. If this will work where do I obtain the driver and the instructions for updating the new 1 TB disk.  I would like to standardize all 4 drive bays with 1 TB drives to maximize my storage and backup capacity. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
