Re: Resetting a demo TouchPad

Ive done a full erase from the touchpad but after its done erasing everything it reloads and installs all of the demo stuff again. Now my question is do i need to doctor the touchpad which i have tried but failed since the "next" option in the webosdoctor after its done "checking system" doesn't light up to click on it. Ive done a doctor on a Pre before which is no different and ive followed all of the instructions to doctor it, "press the power button and the volume up until you get the USB icon" but after i connect it ive waited about 10-20 mins and it still doesnt light up, what could i be doing wrong....any ideas?? Any help would be really appreciated

Re: Resetting a demo TouchPad

Have you tried the instructions in the parentheses to turn on recovery mode?

Re: Resetting a demo TouchPad

that was exactly wat i was trying to do, i put the touchpad into recovery mode and the webosdoctor wouldn't do anything after it was connected. I knew it would read it since the computer made a sound once it was connected

Re: Resetting a demo TouchPad

Remember to not plug in your touchpad until it says tothen you'll seethe next. And check the silly stuff. Make sure your usb cable works 100 percent and that your touchpad is charged. And sometimes you just gotta do it a few times. I did.
