Sorry HP but i'll never purchase another product from you again.

I'm just going on record to say that, I encourage people ordering items from HP to reconsider.  They are unable to make the simplest of changes to their system and according to management, "have had many complaints from customers about this issue."  I'm referring to upgrading the shipping method.  Be very careful before finalizing the purchase because, you will find that their products don't ship when you expect they will and if you want to upgrade to overnight shipping, you will be unable to.  From the many responses i've recieved from management.  They know about the problem and really aren't concerned about helping their customers or providing the best customer support.  This disconcerting because now i'm wondering, if they cannot or do not have the capabilities to address such a simple issue as upgrading shipping method before the product has even left their factory.  (in china) How bad will their customer services be when trying to get hardware problems address.  That being said, I will no longer be purchasing any hardware from HP for personal or business purposes and i'd recommend to any potential customers to be weary of their lack of concern for customer service.

Oh and added note.  Tried calling Fedex to upgrade shipping method and they denied me the service as well claiming they had "arrangements" with HP.  Great, HP's customer services is so bad it's spreading to other companies...Classic.

Well looking at a few threads here it seems a general consensus of opinion seems to be that HP as a whole have a serious problem with customer service...

 

My problem is a lowly mouse which just doesn't work as it should.. This problem has been going on since January this year and although there are numerous customers who have complained about the problem, they still do not see it as an issue!

 

I found another thread where people have spent far greater amounts of hard earned money on HP products (TV's etc..) and also been given the hard luck treatment even after HP have admitted there is an issue with the product themselves!!!!

 

I can concur that I will not be purchasing another HP product in my lifetime and I am afraid I will advise anyone else in my travels to follow suit...

I'm in the process or returning a external blu-ray dvdrw because of no instructions or install disk and after being online,on the phone for four hours -nobody could help me-i feel your pain

I hate to hear bad customer service stories. However, as an anecdote, last March I ordered a 1TB ext. drive from HP Shopping and it died two days after I got it. I called HP Shopping customer service, they cross-shipped me a replacement with a discount on an upgrade (2TB) and was upgraded overnight shipping. 

 

The replacement has been working fine ever since, I even got a call from support to double-check my issue was resolved.

 

My family uses both Macs and PCs and I have to say that while I am no shrill for "fan boy" for any one company, HP products have fared well for us over the years.

 

However, Apple--noteably their portable notebooks--have given us issues both with repairs and customer service. If you're looking for a good "bad" customer service story, check out my blog post below.

Further to recieving a direct Pm from Jeff Christopher the Executive Customer Relations asking for some further information into my problem, I duly replied and one month later, heard absolutely nothing !!

 

Continuing with the thread on our ongoing mouse saga, another dissatisfied customer left this message...

 

I have the same problem! HP sent me 3 mice with the same defect, now i have 4 annoying mice. The couldnt never gave me a satisfiying answer, but the finnaly offered me a refund. Is sad to know they couldn't understand what the problems is, you explain and explain, they taste the mouse before sending it to you and the mouse is a disaster!.

 

I'll never buy an HP device..

 

Just compounding the issue !!

 

I just wish HP would wake up and take stock of the situation.

 This may be slightty off topic but i think it`s more of the same impression i get from HP,  i have written  on these boards with problems in the past and it`s only when i shout very loud i get a response, my last message which is on this board hasent had any replies -  nor have a few other people who have posted before me,  you cant even email HP anymore   few years ago when i did the service was amazing i was very impressed sadly now this does not seem to be the case. Maybe we should all boycott HP until they get this sorted, it`s starting to annoy me being ignored on these boards.

 Anyway i have said my  bit  now i  just hope someone responds to my message.

i have problem guys plz help me, my lap 620 hp every time i powered on it stick and hanged in invent screen plz help and also keyboard useless it keep like that didnt changed plz help me is that software or hardware problem plz help moderator i have my soul in this hard disk , i think my soul will lost and if there no answer i think ill boycott hp for ever.

     RE: I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HP AGAIN!!

 

     I am another unsatisfied customer.  I have been trying to resolve the problem of a Lemon Laptop G72-250 US since February of 2011.  It is now January of 2012 and the problem has not been resolved.  This laptop died while under warranty .  My original problem was that I could not get on the Internet even though I could with my other computers.  There were also other problems but that was the biggest issue.  I sent it back to HP twice for repair and each time it returned it had not been repaired.  It reached a point where the laptop will not even turn on anymore.  I have had numerous case numbers and case managers assigned but other than that NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!!  I received an e-mail shortly before New Year's 2012 from Jeff Christopher stating that he may be able to help me.  I have not heard from him regarding an acceptable solution.  I have contacted the Hewlett-Packard Board of Directors numerous times but hey also do not seem to care.  At any rate I have warned everyone I know and even have posted several warnings on my FACEBOOK PAGE!!  It goes without saying that I will NEVER BUY HP BRANDED PRODUCTS AGAIN.  EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SEEMS TO BE PART OF A LEGACY THAT NO LONGER REMAINS IN THE UNITED STATES!!   IT is not difficult to see why Americans are buying foreign brands over those made here.  HP NEEDS TO GET BACK TO BASICS AND MAKE DECENT PRODUCTS BACKED BY EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! IF IT DOES NOT I DO NOT SEE HOW THEY CAN SURVIVE!!
