I lost photos when TABBLO.COM became unavailable. I didn't receive any notification and had not backed up those picture files.... does anyone know if I can get access to them somehow??

I have also lost pictures and posters - it was a bad show by HP
:!
I have been using HP computers for 10 years now - but with an attitude like HP has shown (removing all Tabblo posters without notice) and without giving the community the ability to recover their considerable work - I will be looking for another company for my computers, printers and the like

Hi quaid422,
The people at archive.org have saved a lot of Tabblo. You can follow their work in the comments of this blog post.

I lost photos as well. This is rediculous, why did we not receive notification.
It has only been a few days, we should still be able to recover our photos. HP please let us recover our pictures.

Yes the people at archive.org have done all that could to save a lot of people from a lot of grief - but unfortuanately, the zip files which Tabblo created for them in those last panic moments of Tabblo's life were not quite what they should be - in may cases files were missing from both the "original" and "photos" directories.
HP should have made a "clean" closing of their application if they wanted satisfied customers in the furure.
