Afternoon
I currently have 4 HP Proliant DL585 in a SAN environment and have started to have issues with the onboard ports which are NC375i Network Adapters.
After doing a bit of research i came across an article stating that was a known issue and required a Firmware Upgrade, the article also supplied links to the firmware updates
-------------------------------------------------
SUPPORT COMMUNICATION - CUSTOMER ADVISORY
Document ID: c02964542
Version: 6
Advisory: (Revision) HP ProLiant and HP StorageWorks Systems: HP NC375i, NC375T, NC522m, NC522SFP, NC523SFP, CN1000Q Network Adapters - FIRMWARE UPGRADE REQUIRED to Avoid the Loss and Automatic Recovery of Ethernet Connectivity or Adapter Unresponsiveness
--------------------------------------------------
After trying to install the necessary update i was informed that “Driver Dependencies Failed - Driver and Firmware set are not allowed for update. Please install driver version 4.3.11.407 prior to performing firmware upgrade on devices with Firmware version 4.0.550 or earlier installed”
I have rolled back the driver to this version and also checked the Firmware version using HP System Insight Manager and it confirmed that I was using 4.0.550 firmware version. Have tried to install the firmware upgrade "cp015985" again and am still getting the same message.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you resolve the issue?
