Usb HP v250w USB Flash Drive not working

My name is goutam kundu and my new bought usb HP v250w USB Flash Drive is not working and not formatting also.Please provide me some information or to send the service center.

I have the same problem too. (USB was working on windows XP but no longer does but windows 7 is fine. ) I logged a request on the HP website and got an email from hpsupport@pny.com.

they suggested I try (as below)
Please try to use our repair tools (Uifx-I or Uifx-II) that maybe could solve the problem.

I eamiled {Personal Information Removed} back with

I"ve used your appicaitona dn it was successful on my windows 7 machine

I've then put the USB into my winxp machine (which I had it working in previously)

and it is not recognised

but it does come up in the computer management section as below

And that was a month ago and I haven't heard from them since. I then emaield them and have had no response. but looking around the internet a lot of complaints exist regarding the v250w.
