Purchased the stand/wireless keyboard/mouse combo in late December 2011. I use my notebook for a home office (transcription business) and do indeed use my keyboard a LOT. However, this is the first time I have experienced letters wearing off my keyboard in LESS THAN FOUR MONTHS and HP refuses to replace it!
I will not purchase another HP product. My Notebook malfunctioned within five months (repaired under warranty but receipt says I'm being charged approx. $16?! Still have to investigate that part.) and then HP refuses to replace a keyboard that is now virtually useless for anyone who's not an expert typist.
Very, very, very disappointing.

I bought my HP PAVILION DV6-6145DX in November 2011. I sent it back to HP in January of 2012, and need to send it back again.
I am sending back my HP PAVILION DV6-6145DX for the second time due to the white letters coming off of my keyboard.
It is the same letters as last time: "A, S, D, E, R & T."
I am very discouraged. This has never happened on any of the other keyboards that I have worked on over the years.
I sure hope that the second time sending it back will be the charm.
Good Luck with yours!
