downloading photo creations

I just installed a new Dell  printer and computer. I use Windows 7.  When I go to download photo creations, I get a message that downloading this type of file could damage my computer.  I really would like to use this program  but why would it cause problems?

Hi JRhonda.

 

I suspect what you're seeing is a generic notice from Windows or your Web browser about installing software. If you download HP Photo Creations from an official HP site like www.hp.com/go/hppc, you should be fine. Our support staff would be happy to walk you through the process via email or phone. Reach them at hpphotocreations@hp.com.

 

If you get a chance, can you post the exact wording of the warning message here, along with the name of your Web browser? That would help other people find this answer.
