As you can already see/play MP3 media you already have the media sharing setup, good. I have WMP11 on Vista and for the Dreamscreen to see your photos, the directory they reside in has to be an active "monitored" directory for the player, or at least in the path (inside) of a monitored directory. Library, Add To Library, there you will see a list of "monitored" folders.
Hope this helps.
I have a problem even though I can "see" where the pcitures are. I can get to where the photos exist but they will not "resolve" on the device. I see the photo name but no actual picture, and can not disaply any.

Same problem as Jake where folders from PC can be seen on frame, and filenames can be seen, but thumbnails do not appear & trying to make those same photos slideshow does nothing. Also Vista (32 bit) & also WMP 11.
Trying to stream music only locks up frame.

What firmware is everyone running?
The first thing I did was update from 1.2.5 to 1.5.2 (10/23/2009).
So I have no idea if it worked before i updated the firmware.
I cannot see this not working at some time?

We too had updated to newest firmware. Also updated the PC software to newest version.
One thing tech support had us do yesterday was reset to factory settings, which went back to original firmware & it still didn't work for us. You are welcome to try that yourself. Our frame is currently on a Fedex truck back to them for a replacement because that's what they wanted to do after talking to 3 people for 4 hours & exhausting everything they could think of.
I also have similar thread going on a Digital Frame Review forum.

Maybe you could try what is suggested in post #6. We can't until we get a frame back.

Just checked and my router has UPnP enabled already and still no go. Linksys WRT54GS (firmware 4.71.4)
Music is working fine. I have a directory where only every other song plays but tried another directory and all songs work fine.

Just realized that the video HP includes talking about configuring your network for streaming shows music and simply tells you to try photos, haha. They have never shown that it works!

Our router also had UPnP enabled -- when we had a frame to try it with. Replacement Dreamscreen should be here Monday 1/4/10.

OK, had a ureka moment.
Windows 7 (32 bit) WMP 12, Photo streaming works just fine!!!!!
Still can not get it to work with Vista 32bit and WMP 11. So more than likely it is a OS or WMP11 setting.
