i bought the hp desk jet 3050 j610 all-in-one printer but it's not compatible with the mac os 10.7

I have a Macbook Pro using the Mac OS 10.7 and I'm having trouble loading the hp deskjet 3050 all-in-one J610 because the software said the all-in-one was only compatible with OS 10.5 and 10.6, is there a work around for this?

Hi,

Make sure to directly connect the printer to your Mac by USB, then download and install the Full Feature Lion software below:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL39593/dj-96583-5/HP_Lion_Ink_SW_v12.13.17.dmg
