v125w (USB Flash Drive) causes other USB hardware to malfunction - HELP!

I bought my v125w USB, 8 gigabyte, flash drive on black friday of this year (two days ago) and plugged it in after a few hours of driving home - only to find that it caused my "Realtek RTL8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter #2" and my Logitech wireless (with USB connector) mouse to not work properly.  I plugged it in and it allowed me to store data and such on it (and I plugged it into my mother's XP computer - on which it worked fine) without problems, only that my mouse wouldn't work (forcing me to use my trackpad) and that I couldn't connect to the internet - as my wireless networking card could not find any availible networks in range (when I can normally see upwards of eight).  These hardware would not become useable again until I safely removed the jumpdrive and then also restarted my laptop.  My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit.  Please help!!!

Re: v125w (USB Flash Drive) causes other USB hardware to malfunction - HELP!

I'll see if this bumps this thread to the top.  I still have to responses and I have ZERO responses from my 3 emails sent to HP between the day I received the product (almost a month now) and now.  I am very upset with HP's customer support, so if anyone at all has any information that could help me, that would be amazing!
