Advice on buying a laptop for Graphics Designer

Hi all,

I need your advice. I'm a graphic designer and looking to buy a new laptop. Im albudgetary very tight budget of $400 - $500.

I want a sleek, thin and light laptop, something very handy. I've seen Folio 13 and loved it, my reservations though, is the absence of a DVD drive. My ideal screen size is 13.1 (between 12.5 - 14")

Can you please advice on these selections I have made, the best two

1. Folio 13

2. Elite Probook 2560

3. Spectre Pro

4. ProBook 6360

5. Elite book 2170

6. Elite Pro 2570

7. ProBook 4340

Your opinion would be highly appreciated.

Screen resolution is very important - You don't want a small screen area for GDT.

Re: Advice on buying a laptop for Graphics Designer

Hi,

Talking about screen, you definitely need a true color screen. Nearly all laptops do not have this luxury. An external screen would help and normally these screens are more expensive than many gamers screens.

Regards.
