Are computer and camera compatible?

I have an HP Photosmart R607 digital camera that works just fine.  I just bought a new HP Pavilion dv6-6c48 computer.

I tried to download my pictures, but it looks like the camera is no longer compatible with this computer.  Am I right?

I'm sorry, but you are correct about the incompatibility.  Actually, it's not really your new computer but the Win7 Operating System--in any case, it's incompatible. :smileysad:

 

If you'd like to take a look at some information about your camera click on this link.  If you look under the heading "Alerts for this product" you'll notice a link for Win7 incompatibility.  The first line of that document reads, "We are sorry to inform you that there is no Windows 7 support available for your HP product. Therefore your product will not work with Windows 7."
