BTTray.exe - System Error

I get this message at every start-up saying I have a problem with... btwapi.dll not found. I use a registry program, but it doesn't know this message. Their help is to remove the Bluetooth program and re-install it. I can't find any help on the HP site. Running Windows 7 Pro. What are my options to get rid of this error message?

Re: BTTray.exe - System Error

Hi.

Download Revo Uninstaller from the following link and install it.

http://www.revouninstaller.com/download-freeware-version.php

Launch Revo, right click on your bluetooth software icon and click uninstall.  During the process you will be asked to delete registry entries, select all and click delete.  Do the same for the left over files and folders option.

Reboot the computer.

Find your Bluetooth installer and extract the contents using a program such as 7-ZIP.  From inside this new folder, double click on setup.exe

Hopefully, this should install properly,

Best wishes.

Re: BTTray.exe - System Error

Thanks! The uninstaller worked just fine. No more error popping up. FYI... I did not have to reinstall the Bluetooth: it automatically reappeared in my tray.

Hello odatkath.

Are you referring to Outlook.com or the standalone Outlook application?

Have a great day.

Re: BTTray.exe - System Error

Acouple of months agao I purchased a HP ENVY 700 and the BtTray.exe - System Err0r says that, The program can't start becauuse BsSDK.dill is missing from your computer. Try Reinstallintg the program to fix the problem. The computer came with no disks everything was preinstalled when it was put together in Mexico!!!

How do I reinstall it when I don't have a way to install it?
