I bought a G72-B60US laptop a few months ago, and soon after I got It the power switch failed. My thought was it happens. I've had several hp laptops & not had to return 1. They sent a box & I sent it for repair. A week was my guess to get it back. It was three. O'well, I opened the screen & the buttons in the middle of the keyboard raised enough to slide nickels under. Then I saw the + button on its side at 45deg. on the number pad on right side (17in.laptop). I was able to get the middle set back in close but the + button was broken. I need it for work & some files in it asap. At the log on I push the left click on touchpad & It stayed down. Sticks on every push so I got a wireless mouse to use. I called cust. ser. explained this & asked them to send me a replacement. & I'd return this gladly. I was told all they can do is send another box & I'm out again. I understand the power button, but then I get broken parts and a bad repair. and it's my loss again??? I'm now an x-hp customer. ![]()

This can not be a normal problem. But if my staff does poor work I don't charge the customer. And to replace an item broken is the min. I would do.
