Battery Care for HP ze4805us notebook

The help content for dv6000 laptops say to remove the battery if the laptop will be plugged in for more than 2 weeks or will be in storage for more than 2 weeks.  Is this the same for the ze4805us (battery manufactured before 2005)?

Also, what is the proper way to plug and unplug the AC adapter.?

Yes. same for you as your model of battery is Lithium-Ion.

To remove the power cord hold the adapter cord tip firmly with 2 fingers and gently remove it from the female end of the notebook.

Never yank or bend cord or pull it from the wiring itself. Always use the end grips

Thank You.  Does it matter whether the power cord is removed from the laptop end or the wall end first?

Common practice to remove it from the wall first, notebook second.
