CANT GET WEBCAM TO WORK

hey guys and gals

 

i have a presario CQ61-405ax product number wf578pa=abg and cant seem to get the webcam to work, i know it worked when i first bought the lappie. I get the error message "no video device detected. Please plug a video if you are using an integrated computer device into your computer please make sure that it is turned on"

 

any help would be much appreciated.
